A foam mattress promotes more restful sleep by allowing your body to relax. The Visco Memory Foam mattress provides the most comfortable place for you to relax by molding to your body, so that each individual part is supported just right.

Visco Memory Foam is polyurethane foam specifically formulated to allow the mattress to change firmness when it reacts to heat. As the mattress reacts to your body temperature, it forms a gentle mold around you.

Visco Memory Foam has been traditionally called:

• Viscous-Elastic Foam
• Impact Foam
• Slow Recovery Foam

Visco Memory Foam molds to your body so that each part of your body receives just the right amount of support as you sleep.

Problems with Traditional Sleep Systems

Traditional sleep systems use innerspring mattresses that fail to conform to your individual body's needs. Each spring is connected to another spring in order to generate enough support for your body. However, this general support of your body means that some parts of your body receive less support. Meanwhile, other body parts receive increased support or pressure.

This increased pressure can cause many health-related problems. For example, poor blood circulation can be caused by the constriction of contorted joints. If less pressure exists around your knees, your knees will move side-to-side, rather than bend forward and backward. This creates extra pressure. Pressure causes constriction. Constriction causes swelling. Swelling causes pain…and you don’t sleep well.

If you sleep on your side, a traditional mattress can cause your back to curve inappropriately for extended periods of time. Often, you can wake with neck and back pains.

According to WebMD.com, lack of sleep and rest causes stress or tension headaches. If your body is unable to achieve comfort due to pain, you could awaken with a headache.

Visco Memory Foam is Better

As body heat is applied to the Visco Memory Foam Mattress, the foam softens. It conforms to your body, reducing stress on your body's pressure points. These pressure points include your shoulder blades, hips, knees and basically any joint that is normally contorted by a traditional innerspring mattress.

That's how Visco Memory Foam eliminates the localized pressure caused by traditional sleep systems. It reacts to your body's temperature, causing the foam to become softer. As it does so, the heavier points in your body sink deeper into the foam. This action equalizes the pressure along your vertical and horizontal axes, so that you get a more restful sleep. At Simple-Pedic™ We use only the Finest Visco Memory Foam available on the market today.

Need a piece of Memory Foam?

If you'd like to order a piece of Memory Foam, keep this in mind.

Most people think more is better. This is not the case with Memory Foam. Research has found that if you are applying Memory Foam to an existing mattress core, it is best not to use more than three inches.

If you are placing the Memory Foam over an existing innerspring mattress, the mattress must be very firm. If the mattress is too soft, the Memory Foam will only worsen your problem.
